White fused alumina is made of industrial aluminum oxide powder,which is smelted at a high temperature above 2000°C in electric arc and then cooled.
CHARACTERISTIC
After grinding and shaping, the iron is removed by magnetic separation and screened into vari- ous particle sizes. Hardness is slightly higher than brown fused alumina, toughness is slightly lower, high purity, good self-sharpening, strong grinding ability, low calorific value,high efficien- cy,acid and alkali corrosion resistance,high tem- perature and thermal stability.
APPLICABLE SCOPE
It is suitable for grinding high speed steel, high carbon steel and so on. Itis widely used in consol- idation abrasive.coated abrasive.polishing and precision casting industries.

Moreover, white fused alumina is refined and crystallized by electric melting. It is a kind of advanced refractory material with good heat stability and hightemperature resistance.
